MSP Gillian Martin visits Wood RecyclAbility

June 2019 - Very productive meeting today with staff at WoodRecyclability near Pitmedden. Talking through plans for a major expansion into hard plastic recycling - exactly the kind of Project we need if we’re going to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill in the north east.

Wood RecyclAbility Awarded £10K from National Lottery

We are ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED to have been awarded £10,000 from the National Lottery to develop our site at Pitmedden.
The new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK, will enable us to establish a clearly marked one way system around the site, improving safety for our service users, staff and visitors.
Thanks to National Lottery players we will be able to press on with our long-term plans to broaden the range of work and training opportunities.
Yo Ho Ho and Shiver me timbers, how’s this for a seaworthy vessel?

Yo Ho Ho and Shiver me timbers, how’s this for a seaworthy vessel?

Once again, the creativity of the Wood Recyclability folks never fails to amaze!
We’re sure there will be a few scallywags on the lookout for treasure during their adventures on the briny deep, just needs the old Jolly Rodger flying and they’re all set!
Just a little something for when Spring 2021 appears!

Wood RecyclAbility Chosen to benefit from the Co-op's Local Community Fund

Wood RecyclAbility is absolutely thrilled to have been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund. Co-op members can select us as their local cause by visiting https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/47953.

We’re linked to the Co-ops at Pitmedden and Old Meldrum, however, money can be raised through Co-op Membership anywhere in the UK, as long as a Member is buying selected products or services from the Co-op Group and has chosen Wood RecyclAbility as their preferred cause.

It only costs £1 to become a member then when you buy selected Co-op products and services, 2p for every £1 spent goes into your membership account.

The Co-op then splits this between the local causes and like-minded organisations.

Please help to support us continue and expand upon a much needed service to all of our service users.

Thank you very much for your continued support.
